Soft lenses have become increasingly comfortable in recent years and disposable lenses have helped with problems of the lenses becoming contaminated and dirty with wear.
The most popular of the disposable soft lenses are discarded monthly.

A recent innovation is multifocal (varifocal) soft lenses for those wearers that need separate reading lenses or bifocals over 40 years of age.
Not all spectacle wearers are suitable for contact lens wear, but if you are interested in trying contact lenses for the first time, mention this to us. The lenses will probably be provided free of charge.
If you do become a contact lens wearer, you will be required to attend for an eye examination annually to have your eyes and lenses examined to ensure the health of your eyes remains suitable to continue wearing them.
